Impressions of your expressions
December 20, 2012 - New Times - Volume 27, Issue 21
Themes are for people who don't live dangerously and the artists at Studios on the Park like to live a little dangerously. Through Jan. 13, they'll be host to an exhibit of work titled "Expressions," which has no theme; artists simply have to follow the basic rules of composition, line, and color. Come see some unruly art in The Showroom, Studios on the Park is at 1130 Pine St. in Paso Robles. For more info, visit ww.studiosonthepark.org.

Baby, it’s cold in here.
December 13, 2012 - New Times - Volume 27, Issue 20
Outsiders might be surprised to learn that Paso Robles can get pretty cold in the wintertime. Like … frost on your windshield cold. Hey, don’t laugh! In California, that might as well be a blizzard. But the folks at Studios on the Park have managed to keep things nice and toasty inside with “Handcrafted for the Holidays,” which features works for sale by 13 of California’s finest artists, with 40 percent of the commission being collected for Studios on the Park’s ongoing efforts to support some incredible artists’ endeavors, their open studio facility, and educational programming for the general public within the community. In addition to handling all the sales, they’ll also be on hand to gift-wrap. Come in, grab a gift, ogle some really fine work, and support the local arts! Come to 1130 Pine St. in Paso Robles.
