Surreality show

Metal Art by Jefe to be featured in show at Studios on the Park

Local photographer and car enthusiast, Jeff Weidler, will be showcasing over 40 of his automotive sectional art pieces featuring iconic images on metal of classic chrome, fins, fenders Sept. 4-6. The show will coincide with the Golden State Classics car show.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Weidler on Saturday, Sept. 5. Art After Dark Paso follows at 6 p.m.

A portion of all of Weidler’s sales will be donated to Studios on the Park and the Golden State Classics.

It's time for the Summer Craft Invitational at Studios on the Park

Do you need an artsy porcelain mug to hold your morning coffee? How about a clean, modern receptacle to showcase your cool new air plant? Or, perhaps you are looking for that perfect scarf made from iridescent, unicorn-approved thread (we all need one of those)? Studios on the Park has gathered all of these unique locally made goods (and a bunch more) in one place for its annual Summer Craft Invitational through Aug. 30. The Studios Atrium is currently filled with works crafted by Liza Allen, Toni Bouman, Kimi Masui, Pam Rivas, Dense Chryver, Michael Spiegelhalter, Anne Stewart, and Jacqueline Thompson. If you have buyer’s remorse, this is the stop for you. How can you possibly feel bad about supporting artists while simultaneously adding to your cool points?
