Studios on the Park in Paso Robles says it will no longer hold the annual free art festival known as PASO ARTSFEST.
The festival usually takes place over Memorial Day weekend at Downtown City Park, featuring works by local artists and others from around the world, live demonstrations, wine booths, vendors, and other art-related activities.
Officials at the non-profit studio say they can no longer sustain the demands of an event of its size.
In a statement, Studios on the Park Board President Barbara Partridge said, "Community collaborations like this must be nurtured, especially today, and I hope Studios on the Park and the City of Paso Robles can continue to forge productive and meaningful partnerships. Discontinuing ARTSFEST will allow us to better serve our community and visitors."
