Become a Studios on the Park Artist

Become a Studios Artist

If you are a professional or amateur artist interested in sharing your art with the public, Studios on the Park may be a great place for you. We are a visual arts center where artists create, exhibit, and sell art.

Traditionally, artists make art alone in their studios and do not spend a lot of time working side-by-side with other artists. We believe that people can learn from each other in numerous ways, and that it is important to interact with other artists throughout all phases of the artmaking process. We have built a strong community of artists working, learning, laughing, and growing together. We would love for you to join us!

Artist Opportunities

  • Studios on the Park Associates

Associate Artists are talented non-resident artists who are enthusiastic about Studios on the Park. They work in a variety of mediums and demonstrate their commitment through a $100 annual participation fee. Though not required, they frequently volunteer, demonstrate or lecture. They are featured on the StudiosOnThePark.org Artist Directory and receive invitations to participate in various opportunities, such as events and exhibitions.

  • Studios on the Park Artists

Studios on the Park Artists (Artists) are defined by their passion and commitment not only to their art, but also to the mission and vision of Studios on the Park. They are more than just accomplished, professional artists!

Artists are masters in their chosen mediums, continually striving to learn more, invent more, and create more. Artists are educators to the public about their mediums, their techniques, and the creative process in general. Artists are facilitators by encouraging and assisting beginning and practicing artists in their growth. They inspire those around them, are team players in a group of artists, and lead by welcoming new and fresh ideas. Artists are professionals, who inspire others to create, explore, educate, and share.

  • Studios on the Park Consignment Artists

Artists wishing to show and sell works on consignment participate in the Up Front Gallery. The 40% commission collected helps support Studios on the Park's essential arts services to 100,000 children and adults every year. Consignment artists are encouraged to demonstrate and/or volunteer as docents.
