CD Mandalas

Upcycle an old CD and add colorful, intricate patterns that radiate from the center point. This is a creative yet relaxing activity that might inspire you to do something with your trash and make it into art. Kids ages 7 & up. Drop-ins welcome. $20.

 

Photo Reimagined as Collage

Come bring in a photo or an image out of a magazine to be inspired by. Glue pieces of colored paper and draw on the image to change or enhance it. Kids ages 7 & up. Drop-ins welcome. $20.

 

Create Your Own Superhero Class for Kids

Kids ages 8 & up are invited to a super fun drawing class like any other. Artist Diane Demeter of ArtSocial805 walks you through drawing and designing your very own superhero. Pick the traits, style and colors and bring them to life using pencil, colored pencils and marker. The cost for this two hour class is $25 and all supplies are included. Foam Core Stamps

This is a great way to start printmaking! Resident artist Jordan Hockett guides creative kids in drawing and pressing images into foam core. No sharp cutting tools needed. Ages 7 & up. Drop-ins welcome. $20.

 

Colored Paper Collage

Stained Glass Drawings

Be inspired by the colorful windows of days gone by and make your own stained glass drawing. Resident artist Jordan Hockett shows students how to use colored chalk to draw and fill in their designs. Learn how to use glue to create the raised outlines to finish the effect. Kids ages 7 & up. Drop-ins welcome. $20.

Ages 4–6: 9 am - 10 am
The class provides an introduction into representational drawing and recognition of 5 basic elements of shape. Combining the elements, students will create drawings of animal babies, insects and dinosaurs. $80 per session includes all materials

Ages 7-8: 10 am - 11:30 am
A representational drawing class that starts with basics and progresses to jungle animals and peoples of the world. $80 per session includes all materials

Age 9+: 12 pm - 2 pm*
After learning the basics, students will use different mediums, such as graphite, pastels, colored pencils & watercolor to draw people, places, & perspective with emphasis on techniques & creative approach. $100 per session includes all materials. *Time flexible depending on class size, check with instructor please.

Single class drop-in-rate: $25 includes all materials
