Kids Art Smart
Our Kids Art Smart program has served over 3,000 local elementary students free of charge. We are currently fundraising to ensure that more children can experience the joy of art. For more information on Kids Art Smart, click here.
Drop-In Youth Art Classes

Professional artist and instructor Kim Snyder teaches a fun series of drop-in classes for students ages 12 and up! Class fee is $25.
If you have a younger child and would like to set up a separate class, please contact Kim directly.
May 30: Let’s Paint! – A Birdhouse
We will paint together with a focus on toning the background of our painting and using a white wash. We will also look at and discuss the values of the foreground, mid-ground, and background of our painting.
June 6: Beautiful Bird Cages
Bird cages come in many shapes and sizes. Come and paint wonderful cages, stacked on top of each other, in a tree, or carefully set alone. Will you paint your birds in the cage, outside, or on their cage?
June 20: Fantastic Fish
Vibrant colors against strong cool blues will make the fish you paint swim off the page.
June 27: Sparkling Butterflies
Metallic paint and simple brush strokes create beautiful sparkling butterflies you will want to touch.
PRAA Summer Art Classes for Kids & Youth
