Two Boutique Wineries, One Winemaker: Rava Wines & Brophy Clark Cellars
Located in the El Pomar District AVA in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country, Rava Wines + Events is the place for celebrations and live entertainment. The vineyards were established in 1996 and span over 2000 acres, 26 varieties and growing regions in Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties. The Ravas, a third-generation farming family, have taken their expertise into the cellar crafting sparkling wines in the traditional méthode champenoise style. Rava Wines is the only wine tasting room in Paso Robles with a full flight of sparkling wines. They take great pride in growing and harvesting their own grapes, striving to retain the intimate link between their roots and the wine.

The winemaker for Rava Wines is John Clark who, together with his wife Kelley Brophy Clark, has Brophy Clark Cellars. This unique partnership combines his winemaking talents with her viticulture expertise. Wine has been their shared passion for more than 30 years. It was always their dream to make wine together and in 1996 Brophy Clark Cellars was born.

Their goal is to produce expressive premium wines from some of the finest vineyards on the Central Coast and offer them at a good value. The Clarks focus on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rhône blends and Zinfandel—varietals they feel excel in this region.

Brophy Clark Cellars produces approximately 1,000 cases of wine annually. Working with small lots, John and Kelley are able to handcraft each wine and personally handle all phases of the winemaking process. Vineyard blocks are hand-selected by Kelley and John tailors winemaking techniques to each lot, bringing to life the varietal character and vineyard expression of the fruit.

Wines to be poured:
2017 Rava Wines Pinot Grigio
2016 Rava Wines Humble Red Blend
