pARTners
January 31 - February 24
Creative Couples ° Partners in Art ° Partners in Life
Couples who share a home and share creative passions navigate their relationship and their art in unique ways. Some duos collaborate and create pieces of art together. Others work in distinct mediums, but use their artistic experience to consult with the other, offering suggestions and support.
This exhibition explores the ways creative partners interact, inspire and enhance each other’s creative process. How does one keep a sense of self, yet encourage the other, whether working together or in separate studios? Does having two creative people in the house bring inventive thinking to other areas of their life? Several creative couples will share their unique works of art in many mediums and offer insight into their inspirational interactions.
Heart of the Matter
January 31 - February 27
With their vision and creativity, artists get to the heart of the matter and show us the core, the soul, the essentials of art. Whether it’s the quintessence or the nuts and bolts, see Paso Robles Art Association members’ view of the heart of the matter in their Showroom gallery.
Black and White

In addition to celebrating their new partner, Deb and Dean have curated a collection of their country home and garden images for their January showcase.

Hearts for Art
February 01 - February 28
During the month of February, show your love for a favorite work of art by placing a paper heart on the floor in front of your artwork crush.
Step 1: Pick up a single heart and hold it close until you’re ready.
Step 2: Fall in love with a piece of art and make it official by placing your heart ON THE FLOOR in front of a work of art you love.
Step 3: Snap a photo of your heart placed next to your artwork crush, and post it to your favorite social media site, tagged with #studiospr and #heartsforart.
Please note: Not everything at Studios on the Park is in the mood for love. Hearts and photography are permitted in all studios and galleries except where there are No Photography signs. Ask your friendly artist or docent if you are unsure.
Happy heart-ing!
