About The Dylan Johnson Trio
The Dylan Johnson Trio features Dylan Johnson, Darrell Voss and Marshall Otwell. They bring their swinging and interactive style to a selection of jazz classics and standards to accompany the "musical" theme of Three-Part Harmony.

Electric and acoustic bassist Dylan Johnson has been involved with many styles of music for over twenty years. Currently based on the Central Coast of California, he performs regularly with Inga Swearingen, Charlie Shoemake, and often accompanies touring jazz artists in addition to projects in many other styles. He is currently on the music faculty at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Darrell Voss is the first call jazz drummer on the Central Coast. In addition to performing with a myriad of artists in and out of the Central Coast in all styles, he often accompanies touring jazz musicians from outside the area. Darrell has taught applied percussion for Cuesta College since 2000.

Marshall Otwell was pianist and musical director for the great jazz vocalist, Carmen McRae, for more than eight years, performing all over the world and recording numerous albums for her. "Live at the Great American Music Hall" with Dizzy Gillespie, was nominated for a Grammy. He has also recorded albums for Barbara Adamson and Ernestine Anderson. He has toured extensively with Freddie Hubbard, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Charlie Musselwhite in addition to Carmen McRae.
