Two-Day Workshop with an Emphasis on Painting, Carving & Texture with Heidi Franscioni
July 17 - July 18
This workshop with artist Heidi Franscioni focuses attention on building rich texture. Like a creative archeologist, we will be carving deep into the wax surface to reveal translucent encaustic treasure. Techniques taught will include the use of rubber stamps, scraping patina-like texture, using a variety of stencils, and diverse brush work.
PRAA Acrylic Painting Camp with Kim Snyder

Instructor Kim Snyder leads children ages 10-12 on a four-day exploration of painting in acrylics. They paint on canvas while learning about composition and aerial perspective.
PRAA High School Art Boot Camp
July 17 - July 20: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Former instructor for the Academy of Art University, Kate Moldauer takes the fundamentals of art up a notch. Each student has an overview into the time honored techniques of drawing. Ms. Moldauer also includes professional tips such as, how to prepare a portfolio, photographing work, putting together an art statement and how to cut a mat and mount artwork. This is a high energy, no-nonsense class for young adults considering a career in the arts.
15th Open Exhibition of the International Society of Acrylic Painters

This International Exhibition is open to artists working in the acrylic medium on any surface. ISAP entrants and members have a significant reputation in the art collecting community. The overall scope of the Society is very diverse, and represents a wide range of subject matter and styles.
