Mindful Art Session: Visual Art Journaling with Eve Provost Chartrand

Art journaling is a powerful tool for self-discovery and cultivating your creativity. Join this twice-a-month group with mixed media artist Eve Provost Chartrand for art sessions geared towards providing emotional relief from stress and anxiety, while exploring the psychological benefits of mindful art.

Eve will be exploring the personal value of journaling, as well as methods for generating thought and techniques for building color, texture, and content. Participants will work with a prompt for journaling, and new techniques for building backgrounds, building layers of imagery and signification, or adding text. Mindful Art Sessions are first and foremost about creative expression, while at the same time building together resilience and mental wellbeing. We aim for connection, sharing and a safe haven for ourselves. Come explore your hidden places!
