Elaine Bateman
Elaine Bateman has lived in northern San Luis Obispo County for 35 years. She was born and lived her early life in Santa Barbara. After attending UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego she graduated and lived in Del Mar. She moved to Templeton in 1974. Elaine and her husband of 34 years, William Bateman, currently live in Atascadero. They own a design and construction business, Interface Development Company, Inc. in Templeton. Formerly, Elaine has worked in the fields of teaching, pharmacy, medical assistance, and as a board member and Senior Warden of an Episcopal church. She currently is a board member of Studios on the Park and chaired the Study Advisory Committee for Studios’ feasibility study and is currently involved with “friend-raising” and the capital campaign.
